Inland Northwest Insights is a collaborative initiative that offers regionally relevant research, local data, and powerful analysis tools to aid in community decision-making.

Launched in 2018, this multi-funder initiative will provide open access to valuable information about health and social services needs throughout Southeast Washington and North Central Idaho. The INW Insights data hub includes:

  • Results from a comprehensive 2019 community survey with representative data from the following counties/regions: Whitman (2018), Latah, Nez Perce, North Central Idaho (Lewis, Clearwater, Idaho), and Asotin.
  • Local mapping tools with searchable repository of over 10,000 local indicators to display results across county, school district, census tracts, and zip code boundaries
  • Powerful community assessment reports that illustrate trends and outline comparison benchmarks related to health, employment, housing, wellness, and transportation indicators with regional importance.

Please contact us if you would like more information on the tools and resources available here, or have suggestions for improvement. The INW Insights hub is sponsored by Lewis Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation, Innovia Foundation, Idaho Community Foundation and Premera Social Impact. Additional support is provided by a number of community organizations and partners that contribute to this community hub.

About the Sponsors

The Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation was established in 2017 following the sale and conversion of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston into a for-profit hospital. It is administered as a philanthropic trust with a mission to promote community health, wellness, and disease prevention.

Since 1974, Innovia Foundation has worked with our region’s donors to invest in long-term solutions to challenges facing Eastern Washington and North Idaho, and beyond. Innovia partners with communities to help those in need, identify and respond to our greatest opportunities, and leave a lasting impact.
